Tiny Rebels is a small but mighty branding shop with big talent and lots of heart. Tiny Rebels is dedicated to creating distinct brands that make a ruckus. The rebels carefully and strategically create and curate brands through product design, identity design, art direction and production. Our clients are our allies, our partners. Tiny Rebels discovers, appreciates and highlights their client’s differences. They don’t follow any conventions and treat all projects as a unique problem to solve. Together they build brands that provide unique experiences and make people think differently about the world. Their range of clients includes, but not limited to the following industries: design, healthcare, retail, entertainment and hospitality. Since 2012 we’ve been successfully launching brands into the world.
Although the rebels joined forces in New York, the heart and soul of the company was built on strong midwestern values and lots of that midwestern charm. Their name might be intimidating, but they’re pretty nice.
Laura likes a good problem to solve and as her friends and family can attest to, she doesn’t give up. As the Founder of Tiny Rebels, Laura has created a business solving problems for clients through art direction and design.
Prior to Tiny Rebels, Laura has had the opportunity to work for successful Chicago and New York based companies and learn from some of the best in the industry. She has collaborated with many talented people at the Concept Farm, Brooks Brothers, Jcrew, Lucky magazine and MillerCoors. Currently, Laura is the Creative Director at Tiny Rebels, but her job description extends to design, art direction and prop styling. Under Tiny Rebels, she has launched several successful start ups into the world and is excited to unveil the new companies this year. Her work can be seen throughout NYC and the U.S.
Laura grew up in the tiny town of Petoskey in Northern Michigan, but currently lives in Park Slope, Brooklyn. After several years in the city, she has kept her Midwestern charm. Laura has degrees from the University of Michigan (BA History of Art & BA Spanish) and Chicago Portfolio School (Art Direction & Design).
This Frenchie loves NYC. You might catch her walking through the city with friends, exploring a museum or enjoying a good espresso in a café. So French, I know. From Paris to Madrid, to New York, her curiosity sent her traveling to different cities. We are thankful she is in Brooklyn with us. She is fond of elegant typography compositions and can pass hours making a ton of minimalist icons.
We are always looking for ambitious thinkers to add to our team. Let’s chat if you like to have fun, work hard and make things beautiful.
Overcome the notion that you must be regular, it robs you of the chance to be extraordinary. - Uta Hagen
