For everyone who has been in New York City in December knows that the Holiday Market in Union Square and Columbus Circle are iconic. Urbanspace needed to up date and improve the experience with one stipulation, leave the red and white tents.
Tiny Rebels wanted to make the market feel cozy and more romantic although it is buslting and in the middle of the city. The vendor signs went from plastic to 100% wood and each had special graphics and different colors. They redesigned all the vendor signage, market map (large and small) and created recognizable elements to their identity that were used throughout the market space. They were tasked with curating a wood sign vendor and collaborating with the installation designer to build the entire atmosphere of the space.
